City Highlights

Cerro Santa Lucia

Take a break from the chaos of the Centro with an afternoon stroll through this lovingly manicured park. It was just a rocky hill until 19th-century mayor Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna had it transformed into one of the city's most memorable green spaces.

La Chascona

Neruda's home showcases art and craft pieces he brought back to Santiago from his international travels. Guided tours give visitors the best opportunity to get the back-story on this fascinating landmark.

Parque Forestal

A variety of flora and fauna is planted here and draws scores of people on weekends for relaxing walks and people-watching. The park is also home to the Estacion Mapocho train station and is just a short walk from nearby dining, shopping and sightseeing destinations.

The best views over Santiago are from the peaks and viewpoints of the Parque Metropolitano, better known as Cerro San Cristóbal. At 722 hectares, the park is Santiago's largest green space, but it's still decidedly urban: a funicular carries you between different landscaped sections on one side, while a teleférico (cable car) swoops you away on the other.

Santiago de Chile,

Life Changing Experiences

“I had a great time here and my Spanish has improved a lot. The people at the school are relaxed, friendly and patient. I had only two months to enjoy this trip but I will come back as soon as I can. To live in a foreign country and apply its language is the best way to learn it and I recommend the school.”

Francisco

Student Estados Unidos

“When I first came, I couldn’t speak any Spanish at all. But after only one week, I was able to have simple conversations with people I meet. And the way teachers build up the classes gives me a feeling that learning this languages is doable.”

Cami

Student Brasil

“I felt challenged and stretched in new ways during my exchange, and I grew so much as a person.”

Cristin

Student Germany

“As a student at this school I have been very satisfied with everything. I have felt that my Spanish has developed so much in such a short time. My teachers have been fantastic!!! Group classes combined with individual classes are ideal and make a difference. The school atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is so helpful here, all of which make attending classes a real pleasure. Thank you!”
