Volunteer as fundraiser for students with needs, Cordoba, Argentina

Anything that you can bring, will be very helpful to give opportunities those more in need. Volunteer!!

On this projects you’ll assist a non-profit organization researching and collecting information so that they can continue doing good work for teenagers that need economical assistance for their education. This organization directs the funds obtained from grants to students of all educational levels, with an outstanding academic performance and financial difficulties to meet the expenses generated by their training.
They collect money from people and companies and distribute it among children that are in danger of dropping out of school for financial reasons. They look for godfathers and godmothers to sponsor the kids. They encourage them to have a bond, so that the godfather becomes also a role model for the kid. Another goal for this organization is to help the kids in need to develop the skills necessary to be self-sufficient in life and to grow into healthy and good persons that care about others.
Education is the only thing that breaks the circle between the lack of skills and poverty. Through education in the formal system of education these children and teenagers can dream of a better life and get a new perspective about what’s important in life. As a volunteer you will encourage them to continue their professional training once out of high school too. This organization wants them to have a bright future and to succeed in whatever they want to. Hopefully someday they will be able to sponsor someone like themselves!!
Are you wondering how you can help? Just putting in your time and your enthusiasm.

Join this project and make the difference!

The work of this organization wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the work of so many volunteers that pitch in asking nothing in return. Without the volunteers work, it wouldn’t be possible to provide scholarships to over 500 kids all over Argentina. You’ll be doing all sorts of assignments from the simpler ones to the ones that require a more professional contribution. Whatever you can help with will be highly appreciated.
Some of the things you might be asked to do are collecting information at the different neighborhoods of Córdoba or escorting other senior volunteers to meet with families. If you have statistics knowledge (not mandatory) you can be asked to help process the information or you can visit sponsored kids or ex sponsored kids to collect information that will allow to improve the program. Once a week you’ll help at the office uploading the collected information. You’ll also be able to visit the godfathers and godmothers to collect the money for the kids sponsoring with the organization’s money collector.
You can help providing tools for the kids to get out of a hard socio-economic reality. Working on this project feeds a circle of good intentions to help children and teenagers in need. There are a lot of people willing to help and we know you are too!he organization carries out promoting the community participation and their spreading. Two saturdays per month, the organization makes fairs to raise funds for activities. In these fairs, those donations which are in better conditions are sold and the volunteers work is essential there.
Between other activities, you can also help to promote and spread the organization trough marketing projects, participate in workshops and activities with children with autism. Anything that you can bring, will be very helpful to give opportunities those more in need. Volunteer!!
