Environmental protection volunteer, Cordoba, Argentina

You are the one who can assure these children to have the chance to grow up safe and healthy.

On this project you’ll be helping a non-profit organization to promote cultural, educational, scientific and research activities to protect and preserve the environment in Córdoba. They have an active role in promoting habits that help the environment and aim at achieving sustainability.
Global warming and its increasing effects have shed light on the many global environmental issues. Our planet’s fragile ecosystem is under attack on many fronts as a result of industrialization and our growing transportation infrastructure. But in a globalized world, local environmental solutions have deep international impact: the littlest thing can contribute to improve local environment conditions and therefore global environment. Working on this project you will help in Córdoba but the effects will be global.
Córdoba is surrounded by a lot of nature. Just a few miles outside of the city you have beautiful mountain ecosystems that are threatened for different reasons such as open sky mining or tourist activities. The city also has the problems that every big city faces daily such as water shortage and garbage disposal problems.

Join this project and make the difference!

This organization is dedicated to make the world a greener place and they need your help. You can do your part for the planet’s well being and at the same time get immersed in a new culture and make friends from all over the world. Among the things this organization needs from you are providing and advertising the various workshops that they promote, as well as all activities aimed at bringing awareness on the need to protect the environment. For this you’ll establish partnerships with schools, universities and other kinds of educational institutions, organize events and implement social programs of non-formal education and community participation generating a green culture in the society. You can also contribute with ongoing workshops and activities. You can help, for example, with an exposition created to address the water issues by organizing it, providing customer service or guiding visitors. You’ll be in constant contact with governmental institutions and other international organizations that work for the same cause.
This is an important endeavor that will have a deep impact on the citizens’ life since you’ll be working for the right of every person to live in a healthy environment apt for their lives development. All your expertise in the matter will be appreciated; you’ll be able to propose new ways of educating the society and to improve the habitat conditions. But what will be more appreciated are the energy, proactivity and commitment with the project. Worldwide change is needed. Sign up and start in Córdoba!
