Educational volunteer in a kindergarten, Sucre, Bolivia

You are the one who can assure these children to have the chance to grow up safe and healthy.

Many of the children the project cares for have all ready had difficult backgrounds despite their tender age – for example children from extremely poor areas of Sucre, those with disabilities, those whose mothers are unable to take care of them and those whose parents have left the country in search of a better means of life. Most of the children are between 4 and 6 years old.
The people working on this centre will assist you with all the information that you’ll need to get around the Sucre and use the public transport. They will tell you what to do and what not to do in the city, so that you will free and save to get to know Bolivia a bit better.
Your role as a volunteer will be busy and varied! You will act as an assistant to the teacher, offering educational support in mathematics, languages, reading and writing.

Join this project and make the difference!

You will also arrange singing, dancing, arts and crafts, games, sports and more creative activities for the children. If you work with the disabled children, you wil lhelp to develop didactic learning materials for them, to stimulate them and make their life a bit easier. In this project you’ll feel how rewarding it is to give your love to children that in fact have so little in their lifes but the hope for a better life and a smile in their faces. The most just need a bit of patience and comprehension, someone that spends time with them and makes them laugh. By playing games with them, sharing your knowledge and your affection you’ll improve not only their quality of life, but also yours by taking part of an experience that will rest in your memory for ages. In addition working with disabled people is a task that is not always easy but very rewarding. You’ll see that with little effort you’ll receive a lot. Make an experience you’ll never forget. Volunteer!
