Seg\u00fan la Asociaci\u00f3n Americana del Coraz\u00f3n, los s\u00edntomas del estr\u00e9s incluyen dolor de cabeza, cuello y espalda, bajos niveles de energ\u00eda, ansiedad y depresi\u00f3n, falta de memoria e irritabilidad. Y cuando experimentas uno o m\u00e1s de estos s\u00edntomas, no pasa mucho tiempo antes de que tu vida personal y profesional empiecen a resentirse.<\/p>\n<p>Afortunadamente, hay varias maneras de manejar el estr\u00e9s de fin de a\u00f1o. Tenga en cuenta los siguientes consejos:<\/p>\n<p>- <strong>Controla c\u00f3mo te sientes.<\/strong> Cuando sepas que te espera un d\u00eda ajetreado, reserva un par de minutos de la jornada laboral para hacer balance de c\u00f3mo te sientes tanto f\u00edsica como mentalmente. Cuanto antes notes s\u00edntomas como dolor de cabeza o irritabilidad, antes podr\u00e1s tomar medidas para aliviarlos.<\/p>\n<p>- <strong>Determine cu\u00e1l es la causa del estr\u00e9s.<\/strong> \u00bfTiene demasiadas cosas que hacer? \u00bfHay problemas dentro del equipo que causan fricciones? \u00bfTiene problemas con un supervisor o un cliente? \u00bfO tiene estr\u00e9s en casa?<br \/>\nSi tienes demasiadas cosas entre manos, prioriza lo que tienes que hacer, delega lo que tu equipo pueda hacer y aplaza las tareas que puedan esperar hasta que est\u00e9s menos ocupado. Si hay fricciones en el equipo, reserve tiempo para reunirse con sus empleados y resolver el conflicto. Si tienes problemas con un supervisor o un cliente, valora objetivamente qu\u00e9 soluci\u00f3n crear\u00eda una situaci\u00f3n beneficiosa para todos. Si el estr\u00e9s est\u00e1 en casa, reserve tiempo con sus seres queridos para determinar cu\u00e1l es la causa y qu\u00e9 puede hacer para reducirlo.<\/p>\n<p>- <strong>Practica el autocuidado.<\/strong> Estar\u00e1s mejor preparado para manejar el estr\u00e9s si tu mente y tu cuerpo est\u00e1n sanos. Come alimentos sanos, bebe mucha agua, haz ejercicio y duerme lo suficiente.<\/p>\n<p>- <strong>A\u00f1ade peque\u00f1os descansos a tu jornada.<\/strong> Aunque pueda sonar contradictorio si est\u00e1s muy ocupado, hacer un par de pausas breves a lo largo del d\u00eda puede ayudarte a reducir los niveles de estr\u00e9s y a revitalizarte. Por ejemplo, adem\u00e1s de la pausa para comer, t\u00f3mate un descanso r\u00e1pido de 10 a 15 minutos por la ma\u00f1ana y por la tarde. Lev\u00e1ntate de la mesa y mu\u00e9vete. Si es posible, d\u00e9 un paseo al aire libre.<\/p>\n<p>- <strong>Utiliza estrategias de emergencia para combatir el estr\u00e9s.<\/strong> A veces, un correo electr\u00f3nico o una llamada telef\u00f3nica pueden disparar tus niveles de estr\u00e9s. Cuando esto ocurra, t\u00f3mate un momento antes de responder o actuar. Para ello, cuenta hasta 10 antes de hablar o, si no es suficiente, retrasa tu respuesta hasta que est\u00e9s m\u00e1s tranquilo.<\/p>\n<p>- <strong>Haz algo que te guste cada d\u00eda.<\/strong> Reserva entre 30 minutos y una hora para una actividad que te guste, como leer, escuchar m\u00fasica, practicar tu deporte favorito o quedar con un amigo. Esto puede ayudarle a relajarse y a aumentar su resistencia al estr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Recuerde: el estr\u00e9s prolongado puede tener consecuencias devastadoras.
