With a privileged location, Jaco Beach is one of the most popular tourist destinations and a surf-lovers paradise. It is located only 2 hours away from San José so its really close to an international airport making it of really easy access.
Jaco beach is about 3 km long and features a great marine landscape along with all things necessary to make your stay really comfortable. The town was once the aarchetypal sleepy beach town but now it is fully equipped to receive international tourist in tons.
The town has also the reputation of being a ‘party beach’ with an excellent nightlife. However, the fun here is casual and relaxed, and the people are nice and friendly.Discos, nightclubs, casinos, and dive bars populate Jaco’s streets.
Many outdoor lovers come here in search of adventure. Eco-tourists enjoy horseback treks, canopy tours, and hiking through the bordering jungles.
The proximity to major national parks and reserves like Manuel Antonio and Carara Biological Reserve make it a special location for people interested in getting in touch with Costa Rican biodiversity. This beautiful town has literally everything! Come and explore it!

Zip-Line Canopy Tour: You’ll safely glide high under the Rainforest Canopy treetops, down a series of 13 Zip Line cables and 15 Landing platforms, enjoying spectacular views of the Jungle canopy below and the Pacific Coast line.

See the crocodiles: Cruising Rio Grande Tarcoles you'll have the chance to  encounter with the avifauna and large crocodile population of this impressive but calm river. Really something to see and experience.



Jaco’s has two seasons: from December to April you’ll experience the dry season, and from May to November the wet season. In general, the geographical characteristics of this area make it humid most parts of the year, with annual average temperatures of about 29°C (86°F).
