About us
COINED is an organization that was founded in 1971 to organize bilateral exchange programmes between German and Argentinean high school students. Over time, we introduced innovations in intercultural exchange and, years later, founded the first school for teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
We expanded by adding new programmes and destinations, designing tailor-made programmes for all ages and interests, as well as work experience programmes: Volunteer and Internship in Latin America. Today, COINED promotes intercultural experiences in more than 50 cities throughout Latin America. We have strengthened our organization by growing professionally, improving the facilities of cultural centers and consolidating associations with top organizations worldwide. We have been the most nominated Spanish Language School since 2010 and awarded as the best “Spanish Language School”.
COINED has built strong over 50 years of experience with commitment and enthusiasm. Our learning method is organized into 6 levels following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). All of our teachers are native speakers with degrees in education, linguistics and related fields. Additionally, they are specifically trained to teach Spanish as a second language to foreigners. We ensure a wide mix in our classes to guarantee progression in the Spanish language. We believe that this diversity adds value to the course experience and provides a great international outlook. We are global leading organization in latin America in the field of studying abroad. We are passionate for what we do and our mission is to give life-changing experiences. With this in mind, we offer experiences abroad in Education, Language and Work Experiences areas. All the programs involve full immersion in the local culture.
